Full Arch Restoration (All-on-4®)
A Permanent, Same-Day Solution to Tooth Loss
If you are missing all of your upper or lower teeth—or are facing the need for complete extractions—All-on-4® may be the ideal solution. This innovative, full-arch dental implant technique restores your smile with a fixed, natural-looking set of teeth, all supported by just four implants.
What Is All-on-4®?
Traditional dentures can be uncomfortable, unstable, and limit your ability to eat and speak with confidence. All-on-4® is a modern alternative that uses four strategically placed dental implants to support a full set of fixed, non-removable teeth. Two of the implants are placed at precise angles toward the back of the jaw to maximize available bone and provide enhanced support—often eliminating the need for bone grafting, even in areas with bone loss.
Benefits of All-on-4®
Cost-Effective – Only four implants are needed to support a full arch, reducing cost compared to placing multiple individual implants.
Avoids Bone Grafting in Most Cases – By tilting the posterior implants, All-on-4® utilizes stronger bone at the front of the jaw, typically avoiding the need for bone grafting procedures.
Immediate Function – In many cases, a temporary set of teeth is placed the same day as your surgery—so you can go home with a complete smile.
Faster Recovery – With fewer implants and no grafting required in most cases, healing is typically faster than with other full-arch implant solutions.
Proven, Predictable Results – Supported by more than a decade of clinical success, All-on-4® has become a trusted full-arch solution worldwide.
The All-on-4® Process
Consultation & Planning – Your journey begins with a detailed consultation. Dr. Williams will review your health history, perform an exam, and take necessary 3D imaging to evaluate bone structure. If All-on-4® is right for you, we’ll create a personalized surgical plan with surgical guides if indicated and review pre- and Postoperative instructions.
Surgery & Temporary Teeth Placement – During your surgical appointment, the form of anesthesia chosen by you at your consultation will be administered for your comfort. Any remaining teeth in the arch are removed, and four implants are precisely placed. A denture may be worn while healing or in many cases, a temporary full-arch bridge is attached the same day—restoring your smile and function immediately.
Healing & Final Restoration – Over the following months, your implants will naturally fuse with the jawbone. Once healing is complete, your restorative dentist will place your custom-designed permanent bridge, completing your transformation.

Anesthesia Options Available for Surgery
Local Anesthesia
Patients who have undergone fillings or other minor dental procedures may have previous experience with local anesthesia. Local anesthesia is a numbing medication that is injected directly around the area to be treated.
IV Sedation
IV sedation allows patients to enter a deeply relaxed, sleep-like state during a procedure. It is commonly used for more complex surgical treatments or for individuals with significant dental anxiety.
General Anesthesia
Some people are best managed in a hospital or surgery center. This may be due to the complexity of the surgery, health of the patient, or in cases of severe anxiety, emotional immaturity, or developmental delay.
